After a well-deserved vacation Mayor Egan is back and ready to make an even bigger impact on our city but not everybody is happy about hearing of his arrival.
It's clear that there is diversity between those of us who are for or against Mr Egan and his policies. We could argue that despite Mayor Egan's incompetence it's clear that we couldn't of chose a better person to help run our city.
A Los Santos resident who asked us not to share his name shared his opinion of Mayor Egan saying "He's a useless tw*t" and a "money-hungry, tax dodging c*nt".
Mayor Egan has been receiving death threats both online and in-person, as a result of this there have been rumours of a potential riot to take place outside of City Hall. The Los Santos Police Department are well aware of this and have decided to stretch their resources in order to secure the Mayor's safety throughout his term.
A detective working for the Los Santos Police Department has been killed in a shooting incident on Vinewood Park Drive in East Vinewood.
Shortly after midnight a male drove a car up into the Vinewood Casino car park. He was then closely followed by a Detective in an unmarked vehicle. Both the Detective and male got out of their vehicles; it was at this point that the Detective raised his weapon towards the male and shouted orders for him to face away and raise his hands.
The male did not comply to orders and decided to then reach behind his back to pull out a handgun from his side.
The male then proceeded to fire three rounds towards the police vehicle which struck the Detective in the chest seconds after he left his vehicle. The Detective was rushed to a hospital but did not survive police authorities have said.
A manhunt is currently underway for the suspect.

On a busy Wednesday morning, four street criminals attempted to rob one of the ATMs on the building, International Jewelry Exchange on Strawberry Avenue, Mission Row. The four criminals, dressed head to toe wearing masks and gloves, were successful in their heist after they used their bright orange van to pull the ATM out of the wall and make a swift get away.
