As the summer reaches towards a close it is time again for the Los Santos mayoral primary. This election comes amid claims of a militaristic police force and crumbling infrastructure. The people of Los Santos are ready for a change and this quarters’ nominees are sure to bring that change.
Our first nominee is Tyler Johnson. A long time employee of the LTD Grove location, Mr. Johnson has seen the crime and despair of the inner city slums first hand. Mr. Johnson’s campaign is simple and broadly stretching. Make Los Santos great again, Mr. Johnson promises to be fully invested in creating new jobs for the citizens of LS. He also guarantees improvements to infrastructure. Specifically the repair and resurfacing of all roads and bridges in the greater LS area. If you would like to reach this nominee for any questions he can be contacted at tylerjohnson@discord
Our secondary nominee has a more specific dream in mind for the people of Los Santos. Bob Scholz is a hard working San Andreas native not afraid to get his hands dirty, made clear by his employment at the local 45lsc mechanic shop. Mr. Scholz has kept to his roots with his promise to campaign for the legalization of aftermarket turbo modifications. He is also campaigning for the legalization of recreational marijuana, improved healthcare, and easier purchase of legal firearms. If you would like to reach this nominee for any questions he can be contacted at bobscholz@discord.
The following statements were made by the nominees to the public regarding their campaigns:
“Making Los Santos great again through repairing roads and creating new jobs, for a better future.’
“In a city that is constantly evolving like LS we have to remember the simple pleasures, like when you hear your turbo spool. That is why I am running, to bring back the simple pleasures of adding a turbo to your favorite hot rod. Also to right the wrongs that have been imposed on us, the citizens.”
LSPD is on alert due to two consecutive car robberies in the south Los Santos area. The robberies occurred approximately two weeks apart. The first involved a stolen Chihuahua Hotdogs food truck. The food truck was stolen during a routine transaction. The suspect later returned to the scene and struck the victim with the stolen truck. The suspect then led police on a lengthy pursuit ending with a rollover that caused several thousands of dollars in private as well as public damages.
The second incident occurred at a Discount Clothing on the corner of Innocence and Strawberry. Our reports claim that the suspects, while wearing animal masks, stole a black Albany Primo from the parking lot. The victim of the theft attempted to subdue one of the suspects and was consequently struck and knocked unconscious by the second suspect driving the stolen vehicle.
The suspects remain at large and the victim was transported to the local hospital with minor injuries.
This reporter contacted the the Los Santos Police Department and inquired as to what the department was doing to recover the stolen vehicle and combat vehicle theft in the area. Officer Tmoney had this to say, "All units have been advised of an increase in stolen vehicle activity. Dispatch is currently stepping up the frequency of patrols as well as increasing the number of undercover units in the area of Grove street." Officer Tmoney also advised us that SWAT officers had been briefed on the current state of local theft.
As we move towards the height of the summer heat wave we can only hope that these criminals are located and brought to swift justice. It is only a matter of time before someone loses their life to these sticky handed bandits.
After a well-deserved vacation Mayor Egan is back and ready to make an even bigger impact on our city but not everybody is happy about hearing of his arrival.
It's clear that there is diversity between those of us who are for or against Mr Egan and his policies. We could argue that despite Mayor Egan's incompetence it's clear that we couldn't of chose a better person to help run our city.
A Los Santos resident who asked us not to share his name shared his opinion of Mayor Egan saying "He's a useless tw*t" and a "money-hungry, tax dodging c*nt".
Mayor Egan has been receiving death threats both online and in-person, as a result of this there have been rumours of a potential riot to take place outside of City Hall. The Los Santos Police Department are well aware of this and have decided to stretch their resources in order to secure the Mayor's safety throughout his term.
A detective working for the Los Santos Police Department has been killed in a shooting incident on Vinewood Park Drive in East Vinewood.
Shortly after midnight a male drove a car up into the Vinewood Casino car park. He was then closely followed by a Detective in an unmarked vehicle. Both the Detective and male got out of their vehicles; it was at this point that the Detective raised his weapon towards the male and shouted orders for him to face away and raise his hands.
The male did not comply to orders and decided to then reach behind his back to pull out a handgun from his side.
The male then proceeded to fire three rounds towards the police vehicle which struck the Detective in the chest seconds after he left his vehicle. The Detective was rushed to a hospital but did not survive police authorities have said.
A manhunt is currently underway for the suspect.
Citizens of Los Santos woke up on Friday morning to see a select few of the billboard signs, above popular landmarks such as the Del Perro Freeway, Maze Bank Arena and the Vinewood Police Station, have been edited.
Record breaking crowds arrived today outside the City Hall in Rockford Hills as citizens of Los Santos anxiously waited to see who was going to be named the next Mayor of Los Santos. Mr Addins and Mr Egan stood in dignity and pride as Mike Pence, CEO and founder of Imazon, announced the results of the highly anticipated election.
On a busy Wednesday morning, four street criminals attempted to rob one of the ATMs on the building, International Jewelry Exchange on Strawberry Avenue, Mission Row. The four criminals, dressed head to toe wearing masks and gloves, were successful in their heist after they used their bright orange van to pull the ATM out of the wall and make a swift get away.
