LSPD is on alert due to two consecutive car robberies in the south Los Santos area. The robberies occurred approximately two weeks apart. The first involved a stolen Chihuahua Hotdogs food truck. The food truck was stolen during a routine transaction. The suspect later returned to the scene and struck the victim with the stolen truck. The suspect then led police on a lengthy pursuit ending with a rollover that caused several thousands of dollars in private as well as public damages.
The second incident occurred at a Discount Clothing on the corner of Innocence and Strawberry. Our reports claim that the suspects, while wearing animal masks, stole a black Albany Primo from the parking lot. The victim of the theft attempted to subdue one of the suspects and was consequently struck and knocked unconscious by the second suspect driving the stolen vehicle. The suspects remain at large and the victim was transported to the local hospital with minor injuries. This reporter contacted the the Los Santos Police Department and inquired as to what the department was doing to recover the stolen vehicle and combat vehicle theft in the area. Officer Tmoney had this to say, "All units have been advised of an increase in stolen vehicle activity. Dispatch is currently stepping up the frequency of patrols as well as increasing the number of undercover units in the area of Grove street." Officer Tmoney also advised us that SWAT officers had been briefed on the current state of local theft. As we move towards the height of the summer heat wave we can only hope that these criminals are located and brought to swift justice. It is only a matter of time before someone loses their life to these sticky handed bandits.
