On a busy Wednesday morning, four street criminals attempted to rob one of the ATMs on the building, International Jewelry Exchange on Strawberry Avenue, Mission Row. The four criminals, dressed head to toe wearing masks and gloves, were successful in their heist after they used their bright orange van to pull the ATM out of the wall and make a swift get away. When police arrived at the scene there was no van, no suspects, the only evidence at the crime was the CCTV camera on one of the nearby buildings and the dangerous rubble left behind on the sidewalk with a few dollar bills flying across the street. An eye witness, watching from the opposite side of the street, explained the events that unfolded. He said, ‘Two fellas pulled up in this bright *** orange van and backed it up against the wall. Two other dudes jumped out from the back of the van with a hook and some rope and attached the ATM to the rear bumper of the van. It took them like a good minute to get the money and get out of there. It was like a scene out of a movie!’. An official statement released from the Bank of Los Santos states, ‘the events that unfolded today was an act of violence to the streets of Los Santos and we will be aiding the Los Santos Police Department with any investigation that is related to this crime’. They also mentioned how much money was stolen towards the end of their statement, ‘there are no official numbers as of this writing, however it is believed that they have stolen upwards of $9,000 from one of our ATMs on Mission Row. If you hear any information regarding this crime, please report to your local Police Station so we can put these four criminals behind bars.
