The mayoral debate has swarmed the streets of Los Santos in recent weeks as citizens wait for the highly anticipated election results to be announced. This past Saturday a debate was held at the Vinewood Bowl between two mayoral candidates as they answered challenging questions from social media as well as the audience in attendance.
Mike Pence, CEO and founder of Imazonrp.weebly.com; an online store where you can buy products at cheap prices was on stage asking candidates difficult political questions as they attempted to win over the support of those in the audience. Candidates were asked a range of questions concerning public taxes drugs, street safety, crime rates and much more. Both Nickolas Addins and Tommy Egan gave strong, opinionated answers as they share their beliefs to the citizens of Los Santos.
The audience soon had something else to listen to besides the political candidates started to dispute against the legitimacy of each of their campaigns. Egan claimed that Addins 'failed' his position for mayor when he decided to resign from all duties in the Mayoral officers the first time, claiming he 'doesn't deserve a second chance'. Mr Egan has urged voters and supporters to vote for him as he can 'get it right the first time instead of voting for someone that has already 'failed his promise in his first term'.
Mr Addins managed to gain the attention of the audience once again after he accused Tommy Egan of 'copying his campaign' and saying that 'Tommy is only in it for the pay check', a rumour that Mr Egan quickly disregarded. Candidate Addins gained back the attention of the audience and started winning over new supporters with his strong beliefs, however he suddenly derailed the audience's attention after he mention; 'playing with kids in the park' in reference to recent issues. This cause chaos between the people and their reference to salary freedom.
The mayoral debate between Mr Addins and Mr Egan left the crowd unsure of the winner of the debate, both candidate had excellent political ideas that would shape Los Santos into a greater city in the coming months. The polls are now opened as we wait for the citizens of Los Santos to vote for who they want to govern their city into the future.
