Record breaking crowds arrived today outside the City Hall in Rockford Hills as citizens of Los Santos anxiously waited to see who was going to be named the next Mayor of Los Santos. Mr Addins and Mr Egan stood in dignity and pride as Mike Pence, CEO and founder of Imazon, announced the results of the highly anticipated election. The majority of the crowd were surprised and disappointed when Tommy Egan, with a total of 11 votes, defeated the fan-favourite, Nickolas Addins, who had a total of 7 votes. Members of the audience were spotted leaving the event in disgust moments before Mr Egan gave his speech. Mr Egan, the new Mayor of Los Santos, commented on his victory by saying, ‘To start it all off I just want to say a great thank you for everyone who voted for me, you know, and everyone else for participated in the vote’. He continued by saying ‘It will be an honour to be the mayor of Los Santos’.
A Weazel News reporter, Harvey Price, interviewed a member of the public about his views on the new mayor, Tommy Egan. He replied, ‘The city is going to stay the same’ adding that ‘he is relying on us, when it should be us relying on him!’. Another citizen appeared to have lost interest in the event as he was saying, ‘there’s two feet of water here’ as he looked at the water surrounding the City Hall's entrance. Citizens are hoping that Mr Egan will take his position as Mayor seriously. Some individuals are also questioning whether he will remain with his main campaign plans as he officially steps into office as Mayor of Los Santos.
