The summer update to GTA Online is on the way, and it will feature new content – and “an entirely new location”. There is plenty of speculation about this location, some say it’s a new area added on to the map, some say it’s revealing a previously hidden section of the existing map, and some are speculating it could be opening of previously closed buildings that we know already exist. The fan favourite around these parts are the police stations, along with the heavily speculated cops n crooks DLC. Later this year players can expect other large updates, including “the biggest ever update” for GTA Online. Rockstar is also taking to heart a number of player suggestions, which will find their way into the games in the coming weeks. For those of you sleeping under a rock, some of the most heavily suggested game mechanics requested has been the storing and modification of emergency vehicles, additionally the use of uniforms for the emergency service personnel. Roleplay communities all over the world are desperate to have some representation and we are all on the edge of our seats, waiting for confirmation that Rockstar have saved the best until last.
This roleplay community “PDLSRP” is eagerly covering the options for how we can capitalise on a cops n crooks update. Personalised police vehicles with changeable colour schemes would be a great way to personalise our roleplay experience. Opening up the police stations we use and utilising the cells, changing rooms and reception areas would add a whole new level of immersion to an already great experience. Finally, the pièce de résistance would be customisable police uniforms for our hard working L.E.O's so we can add that final level of authenticity to their professional approach. Trying to make our Police officers stand out using vests and crew emblems that glitch with certain colour combinations is not only maddening but is a little insulting considering the fact that roleplay communities have been part of the reason GTA is still one of the biggest games around. Join us in collectively holding our breath and crossing our fingers as we wait for the updates to come. For those of you reading this not already involved in roleplay, join this community today and get yourself ready for the single greatest update a cop/civ RP community could hope for.
