Citizens of Los Santos woke up on Friday morning to see a select few of the billboard signs, above popular landmarks such as the Del Perro Freeway, Maze Bank Arena and the Vinewood Police Station, have been edited. The advertisements were hijacked by street artists as they worked through the night adding images of the recently leaked Police ID photos. One of the billboards, as shown below, was advertising ‘Serious Cougar’ but come sunrise the Chief of Police was edited onto the picture. Police have recently removed the edits that were made on each sign and have opened an investigation as they look towards footage of nearby security cameras to identify any suspects that could be related to the crime. A Police Officer that was at one of the scenes stated, “This is a clear attempt to bring hatred towards the Los Santos Police Department. Our officers deserve a lot more respect from the Los Santos public and we will get justice on whoever is to blame for this incident”. A member of the public, John Doe shared his views on the signs just after he and his wife arrived at LSIA from their trip to Portugal, saying that it brings a ‘humorous’ side to the city and even said that it’s what the force ‘deserves’.(edited) Police are urging anyone that may have any extra information to contact their local Police Department as it could help with the investigation.
